Videogames CV

This is an almost full list of the videogames I played during my life, with scores and (in the future) written reviews. I used to keep a spreadsheet for these statistics, but then I found it to be too much "ugly" to maintain so I moved it to the web for a better administration experience. If you like, you can check it out. I played a lot of videogames (and I regret nothing), so I hope to be sufficiently experienced to give informed scores on the titles I played. You may use this score matrix as a sort of guide to your next adventure, if you feel like it.

Every videogame is reviewed in 5 categories:

• Story: plot, story thematics, cast, character development, messages, narration speed, excitement.
• Gameplay: game design, originality, character controller, bugs, glitches, difficulty, uniqueness in-game, enemy AI.
• Design: graphics, art, level design, framerate / lag / graphics performance & optimization.
• Longevity: time to beat, procedurality, repetition, content / assets diversity, gameplay diversity.
• OST: melodic originality, OST length, scenic consistency, dynamic music.

Every category is equally weighted, but not all games are reviewed in every category. For example, many games don't focus on the OST too much as it is not a vital part of the game experience; therefore, it wouldn't be fair to put down the average score of, say, a good FPS game by treating it as an JRPG and criticizing it for the absence of a good OST. Games like these don't get a score in the aforementioned categories, without affecting the average score.

This scoring system allows me to try to be as much objective as possible, while showing all the endless possibilities of the videogame medium.

• The Goldilocks value
• Hard and challenging, even for the experienced
• Brutal-hard
